FAQs

What can I expect on my first visit?

During your first appointment, one of our expert therapists will complete a comprehensive evaluation of your current condition. This will allow us to determine the most appropriate course of treatment.

Once a course of treatment has been established, we can add a home exercise program to supplement your visits.

The initial appointment will take approximately an hour.

Do I need a referral from my physician to schedule an appointment?

No, except for Medicare clients. Medicare requires a physician referral for Physical Therapy Services.

Your therapist will communicate with your physician after your initial visit to share findings and plans for your episode of care.

It is always best to contact your insurance provider and review your policy prior to making an appointment.

Who is in charge of my treatment?

You and your Physical Therapist are in charge of your treatment. Since we are a small practice, we pride ourselves in delivering consistent services with the same clinician. You will receive one-on-one care, but your success hinges on your commitment to attending your scheduled appointments and performing your home program.

How does billing work?

Co-pays and estimated co-insurance are collected at the time of service.

(We’ll verify your benefits so that we know how much your co-pay/co-insurance for therapy costs for accepted insurance carriers.)

Do you accept my insurance?

Currently we accept:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Medicare
  • TRICARE Standard

If you are out of network, have a high deductible or a limited number of allowed therapy visits, we offer affordable, flexible plans for our patients. Please call (865) 801-9380 or email us for cash pay rates.
